Wolves at Dinos Open
The Lakehead Thunderwolves wresting teams head to the Calgary this weekend for the University of Calgary Dino Open Meet. Varsity Teams attending include host Calgary, Simon Fraser, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Lakehead, Regina, and Montana State University.
A wide variety of Western Canadian Club teams will also take part including the Thunderwolves Wrestling Club.
Lakehead wrestling Coach Owen Dawkins said his team is ready for its first test of the season. “This year’s wrestling team is very young; however, we have the potential to accomplish great things this season. This tournament will be very instrumental in showing us where we stand as a team among some of the nation’s best wrestlers.”
