Wolves Women Fifth in Calgary
The Lakehead Thunderwolves wresting teams were very successful at the University of Calgary Dinos Open Meet on Saturday. The Lakehead men’s team only sent six wrestlers and placed second behind a 30-strong Simon Fraser contingent in the team results.
Chris Camarata led the men with a first place finish while Dave Rector took second. Darren Manion and Andrew Elliot took third, Mitch Fryia placed fourth, and Clayton Sereres was fifth.
The women also sent six wrestlers and placed fifth in the team results. Katie Patroch led the Wolves with a third place finish while Tasha Eady was fourth and Leah Daugherty was sixth.
