Wolves in Regina
The Lakehead Thunderwolves men’s and women’s wrestling teams travel to Regina this weekend for the University of Regina Cougars Meet. Lakehead is sending a larger contingent to this meet than it the previous two meets so far this season; seven women and eight men.
The Cougars Meet is a Canada west varsity meet and will feature host Regina, Alberta, Manitoba, Brandon, Victoria, Lethbridge, Saskatchewan, Calgary, Trinity Western, Simon Fraser, Winnipeg, and UBC as well as Lakehead as the only non-Canada West squad.
Lakehead Wrestler Chris Camarata has won two individual golds so far this season in the two meets the Wolves have taken part in; the Calgary Dinos Open and the McMaster Open.
