Wolves No. 8 in North America

The Lakehead Thunderwolves women's wrestling team were ranked No. 8 in North America in the second of four Top 20 polls released by themat.com  Lakehead had been tied for 6th in the first poll.  Simon Fraser moved into the No. 1 position ahead of University of the Cumberlands (USA) and Calgary.

Individually, Lakehead's Katie Patroch was ranked No. 6 at 59 kg while Tasha Eady was No. 6 at 63 kg.
