Some members of the Lakehead Thunderwolves wrestling teams will be traveling to London, Ontario for their final tune-up of the season.  They will be taking part in the University of Western Ontario Mustang Open and the meet should prove to be a great tournament for Lakehead’s women’s team.
Seven women’s team members will be traveling this weekend;  Michelle Gorrie, Alexandra Demars, Tasha Eady, Katie Patoch, Leah Dougherty, Emily McCague, and Anya Glad.

Lakehead Head Coach Owen Dawkins said the meet will be a very useful OUA Championships test for his women’s squad.  “Our women's team this year have primarily been competing against teams from the west coast, so the opportunity to compete against teams in our own conference will prove to be invaluable at this point in our season.”

The Wolves are also taking three members of the men’s team to this meet; Clayton Serreres, who was injured most of the fist semester, Martin Sterling, who joined the team late, and Mustafa Muhammad, who was ineligible last semester.
Lakehead will be hosting the OUA Wrestling Championships on Feb. 18th at the C. J. Sanders Fieldhouse.
