Wolves Take Four Silvers

The Brock Badgers defended both their men’s and women’s team titles at the OUA Wrestling Championships held at Lakehead University on Saturday.  The host Thunderwolves also did very well both on the team and individual sides.  The Lakehead men placed second to Brock while the women placed fourth.

On the men’s individual side; Andrew Elliot, Clayton Serreres, and Chris Camarata took gold; Dave Rector took silver, and Darren Manion and Mustafa Muhommed took bronzes.  Elliot was also named the Male MVP of the tournament. 

On the women’s side; Katie Patroch, Tasha Eady, Michelle Gorrie, and Emily McCague took silvers while Leah Daugherty took bronze.  

Lakehead Coach Owen Dawkins was named Men’s Program OUA Coach of they Year.
