The Lakehead Thunderwolves women’s and men’s wrestling teams head to St. Catharines, Ontario this weekend for the Ontario Senior Wrestling Championships.

 

This tournament will feature all of Ontario's best senior and junior wrestlers; all wrestling for valuable carding points that go towards provincial carding.     Lakehead Head Coach Owen Dawkins said the tournament will be a great test for the Wolves senior athletes as well as serving as a learning experience for the junior athletes.

 

Lakehead will send a contingent of 10 men and two women to the championships.
