This week the Lakehead Thunderwolves Men's and women's Varsity wrestling teams will be travelling to Edmonton, Alberta to compete in the University of Alberta Varsity Tournament on January 11, and in the U o fA Open Meet on January 12.

 

The Wolves men's and women's varsity teams just came of a very successful 9 days Christmas training camp.

 

Lakehead Head Coach Owen Dawkins said this will be a tough test against tough Canada West and Western Canadian wrestlers.  “I will be looking for the team to be very competitive in all their matches, and expect to have some surprise performances by some of the newer athletes.”
