Women's Volleyball Additions

Lakehead University Women’s Volleyball is pleased to release the following:
Lakehead University is pleased to have added the services of the following athletes to our Thunderwolves Women’s Volleyball Program based in the OUA ( Ontario University Athletics) in the CIS, beginning in the 2010-2011 Season.
Kimberly Dyck is a 5'9" wing attacker from Dean Kachur’s program at Killarney Collegiate in Killarney, Manitoba. Kim was instrumental in the team’s Bronze medal at the MHSAA AA Championships this past year. Kim played club for Club West under the direction of Ms. Becky Young Capturing 12th place out of 80 Teams at Volleyball Canada’s National Championships in May. Kim is an attacker pure and simple. She brings to the Thunderwolves strong skills in all aspects of the game, providing a punch to the wolves offense. Kim’s Mom is Della, her Father is Reg and she has a sister, Lyndsay. Over Kim’s highschool and club seasons, she was recognized as Provincial All Star 4 separate times; an MVP on 2 occasions and was recognized as an MHSAA Graduating All Star.Kim leaves Killarney Collegiate with a 92%+ average and is Pursuing a Sciences Degree.
