Women's Volleyball Additions
Head Coach is pleased to present a Local Region Athlete to commit to Lakehead University Women's Volleyball.
Rebecca Valentini is 5’ 4” Defensive Specialist from Kenora, Ontario. Rebecca is a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas and a product of Bob Kowal’s Volleyball program in Kenora. Rebecca is a product of a program that clearly prepares its athletes for the next level of play. She helped her team earn a Silver Medal at the OFFSA “A” championships held in Kenora this past spring. Rebecca’s success is formed by her ability to handle pressure as trained in her Volleyball Program. Her average departing high school is 89%+ as she brings that success to the Commerce Program. Her Father is Robert and her mother is Kathy. She has 2 brothers, Brent and Marc.
“Rebecca has chosen to stay in the North West. Her energy, skill and daily motivation to succeed will benefit our daily growth at Lakehead. She brings to Lakehead the experience of knowing what success is and how hard work pays off. Her coaches, Bob Kowal and his staff have prepared her for the work ethic involved in Unversity.”
