Wolves Ranked No. 9
The Lakehead Thunderwolves men’s and women’s wrestling teams continue to be ranked in the CIS Top 10, with the men’s team jumping to No. 3 this week based upon their strong performance at the McMaster Invitational where they won the team title. Last week, they were No. 10. The men head to the University of North Dakota this weekend for the Bison Open where they will grapple with strong US college teams.
The Lakehead women’s team remains at No. 9 and are gearing up the the Women’s Championship Cup of Wrestling, which is in effect now the Canadian National Duals meet for women along with some strong American teams.
