Wolves to Host 2006 OUA Championships
Lakehead University will be hosting the 2006 OUA Wrestling Championships to be held in March of 2006. The decision was made at the annual OUA meetings being held this week in Huntsville, Ontario.
Lakehead Athletic Director Tom Warden said the championships will be a great event for Lakehead and for Thunder Bay. "We are really looking forward to hosting next year's championships. Coach Clayton and his organizers always do a fantastic job at hosting top level events."
Lakehead previously hosted the CIS championships and now also hosts the annual Women's Championship Cup of Wrestling and a new annual men's meet that began this January.
